This is our first blog in a series of client case studies, we’re delighted to feature the brilliant Sally Tierney, the Yorkshire Garden Designer.

Sally has been a client of Not Just Numbers since 2009, and has won several medals for show gardens including the Premier Award and 2 Gold Medals at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show. Sally has also exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show and achieved a Silver-Gilt Medal and a Silver Medal in conjunction with Leeds City Council.

Sally has been designing gardens for 18 years and is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, which is the only body for professional garden designers.

As if designing award-winning gardens wasn’t enough to keep her green fingers busy, Sally has recently finished writing her own book – The Garden Equation the ultimate guide of how to turn your garden into a delightful part of your lifestyle.

We’re super proud of Sally, the book is a fantastic insight into how she works and how you can use some of that magic for yourself in your own garden. The concept of the book is based on 18 years of designing gardens, and is broken down into 3 sections:

The Experience of the Garden

The Physical Conditions

Maintenance Considerations

Sally teaches you to properly identify and use the physical conditions in your garden that are already there. Work with nature, not against it.

With radio appearances and a flowering list of testimonials, Sally continues to thrive in business. With the support of the Not Just Numbers team, we look forward to seeing Sally go from strength to strength this year.
